The Webster Education Foundation is one of the Webster Public Schools' most valued partners. The foundation is dedicated to providing exciting and innovative learning opportunities for our students that would be difficult to fund with our regular school budget. The WEF raises funds to allow us to send kids on extended field trips to the region's cultural centers, to purchase educational technology such as interactive white boards, and to send teachers to high quality conferences and seminars. In the future, the WEF may fund interships for students and externships for teachers.
As important as the funds the foundation provides are the community events it sposnsors. The WEF hosts an annual Dinner/Auction for our school parents. This year, the foundation offered a MoonBounce game and a SpeedPitch machine at the town's Independence Day Celebration. Later this summer, the WEF will host a free Back To School Movie Night to give our students and their families a chance to reconnect with friends and classmates.
